Back in the summer, Cardiff made headlines by launching the UK’s first destination cycle parking network - with secure on demand cycle lockers being strategically placed across the city centre.

Now, we’re excited to share that the network has expanded.

With more locations just added, there are now seven locker sites live across central Cardiff, offering a total of 31 secure spaces for bikes, e-bikes and even cargo bikes (more on that in a second).

Where you’ll find the lockers

You can now ride and park securely at:

• Wood Street – right by Cardiff Central station, perfect for commuters and visitors

• Queen Street – next to the city’s main shopping area

• Charles Street – in the heart of the city, ideal for workers and shoppers

• Tredegar Street – close to Cardiff Queen Street station

• Churchill Way – next to the canal quarter and a growing café and office scene

• Westgate Street – outside the Principality Stadium, handy for gigs, games and the city centre

Secure cycle parking, as a network instantly available to everyone

All six locations are fitted with Spokesafe Lockers, providing individually secured, weatherproof spaces for standard bikes, e-bikes and folding bikes. And new to the network – and the UK! – is a dedicated cargo bike locker at our Tredegar Street site.

This is the first purpose built bookable cargo bike locker in the country – designed for cyclists riding larger bikes who still want the convenience of secure, on-demand parking. It works exactly like any of our other lockers, just with a bit more breathing room.

The Cardiff locker network is open 24/7, making it perfect for all kinds of trips – whether you’re commuting, catching a late train, or heading into town at the weekend.

Pricing is pay-as-you-go (from just £1.50 per dayr) or you can choose a monthly pass if you’re using the same spot regularly.
